Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF20 Oil-Free ∞

This is currently what I use for my ‘everyday’ face. I feel like when it comes to tinted moisturizers, my skin is kind’ve picky - Because I haven’t had much luck with any of the drugstore tinted moisturizers I’ve tried. (The last one I tried was Physician’s Formula’s Organic Wear, and the smell was just..horrendous to me. It’s really not THAT BAD to other people I’m sure, but it smelled like straight up trees, and bark…and leaves. O_O I know it’s organic, but DAMN. It just wasn’t happening for me. Maybe I had a bad batch. I don’t know, but I’m not using it again..LOL) Okay I keep getting sidetracked, sorry guys!
Anyways! I decided to try Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer instead. And I absolutely LOVE it. Definite re-purchase when I run out. The consistency is just right - Not too watery, but not thick like a foundation. I apply it with my fingers (using just a pea-sized amount) and just even it out throughout my entire face.
Coverage is buildable with this, and I even think it can actually be a foundation if you really wanted to use it that way. I got the oil-free version because I have combination skin in the summer.
This tinted moisturizer gives off a bit of a ‘dewy’ finish. I typically just keep it that way, but apply powder to my T-Zone area to avoid too much shine.
My shade is Sand. (Shown below)

(What it looks like blended)

OH! And if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll probably already know that.. I LOVE that it’s in a squeezable tube! :D Huge plus in my book. It makes life so much easier when you can control the amount of product you’re using - and be hygienic as well.
It typicaly will stay put for approx. 8-10 hours without retouching/powdering. It does have a very faint smell to it that sort’ve reminds me of sunscreen - but nothing overpowering. Plus, I personally like the smell of sunscreen….LOL.
The cost is $42 at Sephora, a bit pricey but worth it if you’re looking for a lightweight tinted moisturizer that protects your skin, hydrates, and provides ample coverage.
xoxo, Nikole.
